Power Tools
The use of hand power tools (electrical, pneumatic, or powder actuated) present unique hazards over manual tools because of their speed and power sources. These tools have special required guards and operating procedures which must be in recognized, in place, operating properly, and followed to ensure the safety of not only the user but also to others in the area. Some of these hazards include electric shock, electrocution, explosion, and other accidental injury events.
